Dissertation/Thesis Format
1. Content page comprise a listing of all the chapter titles with page numbers and paragraph of chapters can be included. This will comprise the bibliography and appendices.
2. Abstract is a short summary of the thesis that comprises conclusions and advices.
3. Acknowledgements thank all the persons who helped in creating your work.
4. Introduction provides a background to your thesis, states the thesis’s objectives, says why this problem is important, and gives an opening outline of how you are going to approach it.
5. Methodology is a detailed explanation of everything that you have done - it needs to enable another examiner to duplicate your investigation in detail.
6. Literature review is a review of the relevant literature - articles, books, and other reference’s sources. This could engage several parts with titles that reproduce the content.
7. Representation of results from the chief research. Diagrams, graphs, tables, and pictures all that helps to demonstrate this and make your dissertation or thesis more interesting.
8. Analysis of data is an assessment of what your research results essentially mean concerning the objective points of your thesis. Account should be taken of the part to discuss from the literature review.
9. Conclusions need to address the innovative objectives and inform how all these have been achieved, or not, because the case can be.
10. Recommendations need to provide recommendations, grounded on the results, for following action. It could
comprise following research into particular parts that have appeared during the research’s course.
